Elisa Dal Corso
Elisa Dal Corso is a choir director, singer, actress, and teacher. Her training and professional career span the fields of choral, theater, and music, with a particular focus on vocals, conducting, and teaching.
She initially trained in classical music, graduating from the Liceo Classico “Gioia” in Piacenza, and then graduating with honors in Opera Singing from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. At the same time, she furthered her studies in musical theater, graduating from the Scuola del Musicale in Milan, and furthered her knowledge by studying piano at the “Nicolini” Conservatory in Piacenza. She continued her specialization in choral conducting, graduating from the ClassLiguriaCanta two-year Academy of Choral Conducting and attending the two-year Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting at the “Puccini” Conservatory in La Spezia, currently underway. She completed her training with jazz singing studies, Estill Voice Training, and an Erasmus experience in the United States at the Cali School of Music at Montclair State University.
From an artistic perspective, Elisa Dal Corso is intensely active as a choir director. Since 2023, she has been director of the Piacenza Cathedral Choir, and in 2025 she took over as director of the Piccoli Cantori di Torino and the Giovani Cantori di Torino (for 2025 only). With these choirs, she has participated in major international productions and festivals, including concerts in collaboration with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Coro Infantil Orfeó Català di Barcelona, the Eurotreff Festival in Germany, and a concert at the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman. Alongside her conducting role, she continues to sing in vocal ensembles such as Sibi Consoni and Vox Silvae, with whom she has won important awards in national and international choral competitions.
In the theater and music fields, she works as vocal director, musical director, and choral arranger in numerous musical and opera productions, including West Side Story, American in Paris, Sister Act, Funny Girl, Van Gogh Café, and Frida – Opera Musical, collaborating with nationally renowned directors and productions and with theaters such as the Carlo Felice in Genoa and the Teatro Nazionale in Milan.
At the same time, she pursues a solid career as a singer and actress, taking part in national tours, operas, and plays, including Leonard Bernstein’s Mass at the Baths of Caracalla for the Rome Opera House, Il Vajont di tutti, Zena, Sweeney Todd, Legally Blonde, and numerous original productions. As a singer, she has performed in concerts, recitals, and musical projects ranging from classical music to jazz and singer-songwriter music, performing at national and international festivals and appearing on RAI radio and television programs.
In addition to her artistic career, Elisa Dal Corso is an active teacher. She teaches at campuses, festivals, and masterclasses dedicated to choral singing, vocal performance, and ear training, collaborating with regional and national choral associations (FENIARCO, the European Choral Association, and regional choral associations) and with artistic training schools. Since 2020, she has regularly held online masterclasses for professionals and works as a trainer in schools and universities.
Also active in the entertainment and events sector, she works as a music consultant and wedding music planner, combining performance with planning and organizational activities.
Thanks to a career path that combines musical rigor, stage experience, and a focus on education, Elisa Dal Corso stands out as a well-rounded artist, capable of expertly combining direction, interpretation, and vocal training.
